2025年3月1日，以《含准率》为题的结构建筑展将正式对公众开放。此次展览由结构师张准领衔的和作结构建筑研究所（AND Office）联合同济大学建筑设计研究院（TJAD）共同呈现，展期至2025年6月8日。展览通过设计过程图档、模型及影像，呈现张准在结构设计领域的非典型实践。

含准率：在一个成功的建筑作品中结构工程师张准所做贡献的比例。

每一个建筑师对结构的重要性都心知肚明，但长久以来，结构工程师却被视为被动的配合性角色，以至于结构工程师往往已经自甘被动——他们等待着对建筑师的创想进行力学验算，而不是主动介入建筑创作。他们要读谱，但是不演奏。

和作结构建筑研究所的出现改变了这种局面，为中国建筑的内在品质带来了现象级的提升。在中国，很少有哪位结构工程师能像张准那样，积极地与建筑师紧密合作，以“和作”之力打破了行业的沉闷与惰性，年纪轻轻，成绩斐然，塑造出新一代结构工程师的社会形象。

Han Zhun Lyu refers to the proportion of structural engineer Zhang Zhun's contributions to a successful architectural work.

Every architect understands the critical role of structure, yet structural engineers have long been seen as passive participants rather than creative contributors. Influenced by this mindset, structural engineers have often adopted a passive role—merely performing mechanical calculations on architects’ design schemes instead of actively engaging in the creative process of architectural design. They concentrate on reading the sheet music, but they don’t actually play.

The emergence of AND Office has shifted this paradigm, significantly improving the quality of Chinese architecture. In China, it is rare to find a structural engineer like Zhang Zhun who actively and closely collaborates with architects. Through the power of collaboration AND creation, he has disrupted institutional stagnation and professional inertia, reshaping the social image of structural engineers. Young and accomplished, he has achieved remarkable success.

《含准率》展出结构师张准与80位优秀建筑师合作的200余个项目的档案，提供了一个全新的视角，重新解读中国建筑的独特实践与多样化发展。

为了呈现张准与建筑师合作共创的工作方式，展览以设计过程为线索，突出结构、材料、建造、尺度与效果在设计中的相互关系。同时，展览摒弃了按结构类型分类项目的逻辑，转而呈现项目之间片段化的结构关联。

值得留意的是，展览中呈现的结构关联仅是暂时性的理解。观展过程中，你我完全可以通过各自的视角，发掘新的潜在关联。

The exhibition Indeterminate Equilibrium (Han Zhun Lyu) features over 200 project archives, showcasing collaborations between structural engineer Zhang Zhun and 80 leading architects. It opens a fresh and productive path to understanding Chinese architecture.

To better present the collaborations between Zhang Zhun and the architects, the exhibition visualizes the dynamic interplay between structure, materials, construction, scale, and effect in the design process. It challenges the simplified notion that structural design is merely a matter of selecting a structural type and performing calculations. This exhibition does not categorize projects by structural type or other conventional methods but instead highlights structural correlations between projects.

The structural correlations presented in the exhibition should be regarded as temporary interpretations. As you explore the exhibition, you are welcome to uncover new and potential correlations from your unique point of view.

结构工程师要追求“精准”是社会共识。

结构的计算分析、图纸表达必须精准。但是面对繁复多变的现实需求时，精准是动态的、有限度的、片段化的，不同标准与尺度下的“精准”也不尽相同。结构设计本身是否也能以“精准”来评价呢？

The pursuit of exactness is widely considered essential to the work of structural engineers—a principle not only embodied in codes and standards, but also reinforced by public expectations. 

Yet while calculations, analyses, and drawings should be accurate, real-world complexity reveals “precision” as something fluid, finite, and fragmented—shifting according to varying standards and contexts. This raises a question: is it appropriate to evaluate structural design solely based on its exactness?

回顾设计时常发现，曾经力图追求“精准”的决定其实是一种舍弃，而接纳意外、调试出适度的含混可以为设计带来活力与自由。取舍间充满诱惑与挑战，应对这种挑战需要扩大结构的语境，工程师也因此成为设计师。

Reviewing our past design decisions, we often find that pursuing exactness involves giving up certain possibilities. By embracing the unexpected—and welcoming a degree of hybridity and ambiguity—we infuse the process with renewed vitality and freedom. This is both tempting and challenging; it encourages us to widen the scope of structural design, blurring the line between engineer and designer.

张准，国家一级注册结构工程师、一级注册土木工程师(岩土)、同济大学建筑设计研究院（集团）有限公司高级工程师，同济大学建筑城规学院设计导师，2007年毕业于同济大学土木工程学院，2016年与柳亦春、郭屹民共同成立“和作结构建筑研究所”。

“和作结构”兼顾设计实践及教学研究，关注点从单一技术创新向带有本土文化思考的综合性结构设计转变，以“泛结构技术”为基石与建筑师共同探索并扩大结构设计的边界，工程实践涉及建筑、桥梁、艺术装置、大地景观、工业产品等。

Zhang Zhun holds the titles of National First-Class Registered Structural Engineer and First-Class Registered Civil Engineer (Geotechnical). He is a Senior Engineer at Tongji Architectural Design (Group) Co., Ltd. and a design mentor at Tongji University's College of Architecture and Urban Planning. After graduating from the College of Civil Engineering at Tongji University in 2007, he co-founded AND Office in 2016 with Liu Yichun and Guo Yimin.

AND Office integrates both design practice and academic research. Its focus has expanded from purely technological innovation to holistic structural design informed by local culture. Building on the principle of “general structural technology,” AND Office collaborates with architects to push the boundaries of structural design. Their range of work includes buildings, bridges, art installations, landscape, industrial products, and more.
